I contacted Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Indiana after seeing their commercials on local TV. The "check vent" light has been coming on every time I use the clothes dryer despite trying to clean the ductwork over the years using a dryer vent cleaning kit. Darvell, the dryer vent technician, was amazing! He was very friendly and professional, and identified the problem immediately - the wrong type of vent cap was used on the roof at the outlet. Instead of a hooded cap with a back draft damper, a standard roof vent cap was used, preventing the dryer from venting correctly and allowing birds to nest inside. Over twelve years of build up was in that ductwork!! Now my dryer is working perfectly, the drying time has been reduced, and I'm no longer afraid my house will catch fire. I highly recommend this company and having your dryer venting professionally cleaned. I just hope you're lucky enough to have Darvell be your technician, too!

The serviceman called to come early and it was appreciated. He arrived and immediately started his assessment. The assessment showed that the vent was blocked and the airflow was measured at 9 miles an hour. After the cleaning airflow was measured at 18 mph… twice the airflow! Great result. Afterwards he cleaned up from the work. Our only con was the price… this is an expensive service.
